The publication among others provides information about the thematic areas of discussions and the type of events to be organized. The selected topics and events are relevant and can address most of the issues of urbanization in the twenty first century: Hopes as well as challenges. Among others I am more than happy to know that there is a focus on the youth and gender issues. It will be good if additional vulnerability in the cities should get special attention and discussed in the forum. As mentioned in the publication more and more people are expected to join the city life. With this change we will also see changes on the demographic dynamics of cities. The world is becoming more and more aging and significant number of the older people is expected to live in cities. Hence, the world should start thinking and addressing the issues of aging in cities. Older people together with person with disabilities have special needs in housing, infrastructure, recreational places among others. They also need special protection though designing and implementing special social protection and security system. Are our cities ready to accommodate such changes and the needs of people who need special attentions?

PROBLEMS WHICH ARE SEEN NOW CAN BE ELIMINATED BUT THERE MIGHT BE FUTURE PROBLEMS WHICH ARE CLANDESTINE AND UNSEEN. Strategies must cover those aspects which are not discussed, not being considered neither recognised as threat for the future not being ssessed. We must not fail solving those problems.
